Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

The short version. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website. We do not collect personal information from you unless you choose to email or call us. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.

1. Scope

This policy explains how Veridian Engineering Solutions (“Veridian”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with veridianengsolutions.com (the “site”). It does not apply to other companies' websites we link to, or to information you provide outside the site — in a contract, a request for proposal, or a meeting — although we handle that information with the same care.

2. Information we collect

Information you choose to give us. The site has no contact form, no newsletter signup and no accounts. The only ways to reach us from the site are an email link and a telephone link, both of which open your own email or phone application. If you write or call, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, company, email address, telephone number and details of your project. Email reaches us at info@veridianengsolutions.com.

Technical information collected automatically by our providers. We do not run analytics software. However, like every website, ours is delivered by hosting and content-delivery providers that keep standard server logs for delivery, performance and security purposes. Those logs may include IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages requested, and date and time of access. We access this information only through the aggregate and security reporting our providers make available. We do not use it to build visitor profiles or to identify individuals.

Cookies and similar technologies. As of the date above, the site sets no cookies, no local storage and no session storage, and loads no third-party scripts, tags, pixels or fonts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

If you visited an earlier version of this website, which was built on a different platform, your browser may still hold a cookie and a service worker from that platform. They are not set or used by the current site. Clearing your browser's stored data for this domain will remove them.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about a prospective or ongoing project
  • To prepare proposals, estimates and engineering deliverables you have asked for
  • To maintain records required for business, professional, insurance and tax purposes
  • To keep the site secure, available and functioning correctly

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of established providers who may process information on our behalf:

ProviderRole
GoDaddyWebsite hosting and domain registration
CloudflareContent delivery, caching and security filtering
MicrosoftEmail and productivity software (Microsoft 365)
LinkedInOur company page, which we link to from the site

These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. If you follow our LinkedIn link you leave our site, and LinkedIn's privacy policy applies rather than ours.

5. We do not sell or share personal information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not rent, trade or disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may disclose information where we are required to by law, where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim, or to professional advisers who are themselves bound by obligations of confidentiality.

6. Confidentiality of project information

Technical and commercial information you send us about your facility or project is treated as confidential and used only to evaluate and perform the work. Where a non-disclosure agreement is in place between us, its terms govern and take precedence over this policy.

7. Where information is handled

We are based in the United States and operate an engineering centre in Uruguay. Information you send us may be accessed by our personnel and contractors in both countries in the course of delivering a project. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be handled in the United States, where data protection law may differ from the law of your own country.

8. Retention

We archive correspondence and project records rather than deleting them. Engineering records form part of our professional record, and we retain them for as long as we may need them to support or defend the work, and for the period required by our professional, contractual, insurance and tax obligations.

We do not delete project or engineering records on request, because we may be required to produce them years after a project is complete. Where a confidentiality agreement or contract requires us to return or destroy specific material, we follow that agreement.

Requests to delete personal contact information are handled as described in section 11.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information in our possession, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal information — government identification numbers, financial account numbers or health information — by ordinary email.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.

11. Your choices and requests

Regardless of whether any particular privacy statute applies to us, we will do the following on request and at no charge:

  • Tell you what personal information about you we hold
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
  • Delete your personal contact information, where we are not required to retain it. This does not extend to project or engineering records, which are retained as described in section 8
  • Stop sending you correspondence

Write to info@veridianengsolutions.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within 45 days.

12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track visitors across websites or over time, we take no specific action in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control browser signals. Our answer to those signals is already reflected in how the site is built.

13. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. If a change is material, we will note it at the top of the page for a reasonable period.
